Abu Dhabi Amiri Flight

Zum Transport hochrangiger Personen hat das Emirat Abu Dhabi am 19. Januar 1993 das staatliche Unternehmen Amiri Flight gegründet. Am 16. Februar 2009 erfolgte die Umbenennung in „Presidential Flight”. Die Flotte umfasst mehrere Boeing-Muster. Davon befinden sich aktuell vier Flugzeuge im Einsatz: je eine Boeing 737 BBJ2 (A6-AUH), 777-200 (A6-ALN), 787-8 (A6-PFC) und 787-9 (A6-PFE). Ein Großteil davon war im Mai 2023 auf dem Flughafen Zürich zu Gast.

The Emirate of Abu Dhabi founded the state-owned company Amiri Flight on 19 January 1993 to transport high-ranking persons. On 16 February 2009, the company was renamed “Presidential Flight”. The fleet comprises several Boeing models. Of these, four aircraft are currently in service: one each of the Boeing 737 BBJ2 (A6-AUH), 777-200 (A6-ALN), 787-8 (A6-PFC) and 787-9 (A6-PFE). Most of these were guests at Zurich Airport in May 2023.
